Bendy Girl - Care In The NHS

Bendy Girl writes the Benefit Scrounging Scum blog, she has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome/Hypermobility Syndrome, and yet despite that she manages to bring a great deal of humour to her blog, far more than I can.

A good example of her humour can be found in her recent post, "Can We Fix It?"

She often mentions spoons on Twitter, for an explanation as to why, have a look here (.pdf).

  1. Seeing as Louise has led the way in marking the importance of how we use language...just to be really pedantic I don't have Hypermobility Syndrome, I'm an Ehlers Danlos (global type) which means that I have too many of the main features of multiple types to be classified in any one category. And now you know...exciting or what?!
Thanks for the lovely comments about my writing btw! I'm already getting lots of links from this blog so lets hope it goes on to great things! BG

  2. Okay, I'll keep it to Ehlers Danlos in future. It isn't pedantic, I just write badly...

  4. I know the feeling after too much walking today. Maybe I should steal spoons from cafe nero next time I am there, could have had 11 extra today if they counted.
